Poltrona Frau Stand at the Salone del Mobile 2019
The stand designed for Poltrona Frau on the occasion of the 2019 Milan Furniture Show winds its way around a circular route consisting of nine environments facing onto a central room evoking a precious space akin to a medieval cloister or the hall of a Renaissance villa. The room is large and scenographic and is surrounded by apertures and large portals – sometimes open, sometimes closed – that enable the surrounding spaces to be glimpsed, producing effects of surprise and discovery. The circular route between the environments is punctuated by glass walls and filtering curtains that allow the depth of the exhibition environment to be perceived.
