With Typo, AMDL CIRCLE redefines the archetype of the wooden office chair on wheels for Mara. Soft lines define the backrest and the height-adjustable seat, contrasting with the robust angularity of the metal structure, giving shape to a composition with a dynamic silhouette, a synthesis of contrasts. The project stems from the desire to experiment and apply innovative construction solutions to create new forms. Starting from the study of steel profile bending techniques, an unconventional process was developed to yield a novel effect: by bending a square-section steel tube along the diagonal, the material deforms, creating sharp folds.
