The image of Camper shops pays homage to and is reflected in the uninhibited and proactive spirit of the style, motifs and colours invented by the designers of Memphis in the 1980s. Conceptually the display case alludes to a wall of shoeboxes, but distorted and stylised according to Memphis graphics to be transformed into a three-dimensional decoration with a peculiar optical effect, since the angle of inclination of the shelves produces a distortion in the perspective of the wall. The quantity of shelves enables a large number of shoes to be held simultaneously.
