Melathron lamp

Melathron is a suspension lamp composed of three aluminium rings, developed in concentric diameters and connected vertically by thin steel plates. Both the elements are load-bearing and generate the stability of the whole structure: this is structural engineering applied to design. Aluminium rings house the lateral emission LED strips and dissipate heat; thin steel plates fulfil the double function of orienting the light flow and preventing the direct glare of the LEDs.
