Poltroncina pieghevole “298 (Unicredit Pavilion Project)”

The Sedia 298 was specially designed for the UniCredit Pavilion in Milan. It is a revisiting of the folding director’s chair, produced in natural beech wood with a stainless steel mechanism that enables it to be folded easily and put away when not in use. Created in the carpentry workshop in Cassina with advanced technology machines, the chair is hand finished and assembled. The high quality of the handicraft emerges from the tapered arms that continue into the legs, creating a light and elegant silhouette. The structure is finished with a low-gloss paint that brings out the grain and the warmth of the wood. Seat and back are covered in red fabric.
