A series of “apses” between the columns of the courtyard welcome and present Alessi’s products, creating ad hoc narrative moments for the new Poêle Collection by Philippe Starck, the Conversational Objects cutlery by Virgil Abloh, the original work Obget Inutile by Salvador Dalí and the special series created under the new brand, Il Tornitore Matto, by Alberto Alessi, who has brought together nine international designers to experiment with the art of the metal lathe.
The layout design for Ars Metallica carries forward the Circle’s idea of weaving sensory connections through the unconventional use of materials and finishes.
