Azimut exhibition installations
The design of Azimut’s stands is strongly characterised by filtering walls formed of inclined and transversally framed wooden slats. Sounds, lights and scents circulate in the environment through this scenographic setting of elements, which at the same time assures the right level of privacy inside. The space is marked by a play of light and shadow, generated by the alternating solids and voids of the walls. The inspiration comes from the jalousies, a typical element of Mediterranean houses that characterises the face of many coastal cities: from Marseille to Palermo, from Barcelona to Tunis. Inside, the sunlight filters through the cracks, creating a calm, serene half-light that evokes the summer months, moments of leisure and rest, in which to indulge one's interests and passions. In summer, with the blinds closed and the windows open, the coolness comes in and the heat stays out. The stands will be like real sitting rooms: cosy and airy domestic environments, refined in...

The inspiration comes from the jalousies, a typical element of Mediterranean houses that characterises the face of many coastal cities: from Marseille to Palermo, from Barcelona to Tunis. Inside, the sunlight filters through the cracks, creating a calm, serene half-light that evokes the summer months, moments of leisure and rest, in which to indulge one’s interests and passions. In summer, with the blinds closed and the windows open, the coolness comes in and the heat stays out.
The stands will be like real sitting rooms: cosy and airy domestic environments, refined in their choice of materials, especially wood. The mental association between the image of Azimut Yachts and the design of the stands should be immediate for those in the nautical world. For this reason, a system of furniture and materials has been designed specifically for Azimut Yachts to give the spaces a recognisable identity. The choice of solid wood as the main material for accessories and partitions lightens the formality of the reception areas and creates an immediate sense of welcome.
Both small and large stands, such as those at Düsseldorf and Miami, have a unified character defined by the filtering wood panelling. The long reception desk, also lined in wood slats, is the other recognisable element.
Special attention has been paid to the choice of furniture: chairs, armchairs, sofas, coffee tables and lamps, all designed to convey an idea of informal, domestic comfort.
Particular attention has been paid to making the entrance to Azimut stands as attractive as possible. The large and bright entrances are formed by iconic shutters framed in a reflective material. These doorways have a dual purpose: to make the entrance clearly identifiable and to reflect the context, creating a link with the surroundings.
The AMDL CIRCLE concept will be used in the 2022-2023 stand design for the Cannes, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Fort Lauderdale, Genoa, Miami, Monaco, Palm Beach and Venice boat shows.
