Mostra “Alessi 100-001”

To celebrate Alessi's 100th anniversary, an installation has been created inside the Manzoni Gallery in Milan. A succession of installations unexpectedly occupies the rationalist spaces designed by Alziro Bergonzo in 1949, immersing visitors in a gallery made up of rooms of wonders, visible from the display cases. Each of the different rooms explores a design macro-theme, interpreting the brand's founding values: Industrial Craftsmanship, Art, Paradox, Beyond, Hybridisation, Research Lab, Irony, Borderline, Poetry, Thingness, Transgression and Futurespective. These concepts are represented by the most iconic objects, symbols of everyday domesticity-a kettle, a nutcracker or a toilet brush-set in eclectic scenarios with bright colors that stimulate the possibilities of creative thinking.
