Oxy.gen Pavilion

Oxy.gen is a small educational laboratory devoted to knowledge and awareness-creation on the importance of breath and the quality of the air that surrounds us. It appears as a symbolic dome in the form of an air bubble floating on the water of the lake of Parco Nord in Bresso, the park at the gates of Milan that protects the pieces of agricultural land that have escaped the cement and borders Open Zone, the major experimental research campus created by Zambon. Reachable via a small bridge, the shell of Oxy.gen consists of two layers of fabric and a grid of metal elements to consolidate the structure. Air circulates through the layers and absorbs the noises and reduces sudden temperature changes. Inside a single environment is open for meetings, conferences, presentations, experiments, lessons, film projections and exhibitions.
