Vegan table

The Vegan table is the result of a work of synthesis between an idea and the technique of its realisation.
The idea comes from the organic world: the form of the legs recalls a herringbone, but also a branch twisted around the stem of a tree or a bone. The construction is made possible by the mastery of Riva1920: the four legs are shaped – each starting from a single piece of walnut wood – using a manual procedure that enables the design traced by the pencil to be reproduced without the need for parametric drawings. The top, again made of walnut heartwood, has a tapered shape, as though it had been smoothed and worn by atmospheric agents.
